Today, we are pleased to add a new dimension to this commitment through our partnership with Protect Our Winters Canada (POW).
A Mission That Resonates With Us
Protect Our Winters Canada is a non-profit organization that brings together outdoor enthusiasts, athletes, businesses and industry leaders to advance climate action in Canada. Its mission is to mobilize the outdoor community to protect the places and experiences we love.
Beyond individual actions, POW works to bring the voice of the outdoor community to decision-makers and advance solutions at a broader scale. Its work focuses on areas including the transition to clean energy, protecting lands and communities from wildfires, and building resilient outdoor communities.
This approach strongly resonates with us. Coffee is deeply connected to nature: from growing the beans to transforming them, our craft depends on resources and ecosystems that are essential to protect. The outdoors also plays an important role in Café William’s culture and in the everyday lives of many members of our team.
Going Further, Together
This partnership builds on our sustainability initiatives while allowing us to contribute to a movement that extends beyond our own operations. By working with POW, we want to support its mission, help raise awareness of its work and mobilize our community around protecting the natural spaces close to home.
